Suzanne Kendall is a versatile actress, casting director and producer with over 20 years of industry experience across stage, screen, voice-over, and immersive theatre. Since graduating from drama school in 2006, she has worked extensively in film, TV, and theatre. She is currently represented by Savages Personal Management and is featured on Spotlight (where her acting CV, showreel, and photos can be found). A proud Equity member, Suzanne is a passionate advocate for actors and their vital contributions to artistic projects.
Casting & Industry Expertise
Suzanne's journey into casting began in 2013-2014 when she served as Casting Secretary for Player Playwrights, London's longest-running new writing society, presided over by acclaimed writers Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran (Birds of a Feather, The New Statesman, Dreamboats and Petticoats). During this time, she cast a new project every week, working with a diverse range of scripts across theatre, film, radio, and TV.
Her early casting experience includes assisting Maureen Duff (CDG) on projects such as the hit ITV show Vera, as well as casting for Eavesdrop Films, including G-Dragon’s Crooked music video. She also worked as an agent for West Central Management, a cooperative actors’ agency in London. Additionally, she contributed to Actors One Stop Shop, helping actors craft compelling showreels by casting complementary roles.
Producing & Consultancy work
After earning a Film Producer’s Foundation Certificate from Raindance London, Suzanne expanded into producing, casting, and production coordination. She has managed multiple independent film projects and even worked on a feature film production in the United States, gaining hands-on experience with SAG (now SAG-AFTRA). Drawing on her deep understanding of independent filmmaking, she offers consultancy services through Actors in Business, helping creatives navigate casting and production.
